Matt Timm has extensive and broad experience leading technology oriented businesses. Matt was the President and founder of Soligie, a leader in the emergent “Printed Electronics” industry. Matt wrote the business plan, secured $17MM in funding and built an internationally recognized brand with customers like Procter & Gamble, Kimberly Clark, Boeing, 3M and The Army. Prior to his work at Soligie Matt was a member of the Executive Team at Physical Electronics, a provider of capital equipment for the surface analytical science industry. At Physical Electronics matt held the titles of Vice President and General Manager of the Metrology Products Division, Vice President of Sales and Customer Service, acting Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of the Physical Electronics GmbH. Matt was also the Global Service Manager for FSI International, a provider of capital equipment to the semiconductor industry. Earlier in his career Matt held engineering and technical positions in the aerospace and avionics industries. Matt has considerable international experience in both Europe and Asia in sales, business development, M&A and strategic alliances. Matt has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Valparaiso University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
Matt is now leveraging his business experience to help other companies with Internet Marketing Strategies as the Managing Principal of the WSI office in Eden Prairie, MN. Matt works primarily, but not exclusively, with tech and manufacturing companies that are between $10MM and $100MM in revenues. Matt has worked with Medical Device suppliers, CNC Machiners, Ingredient Companies, manufacturers of consumer electronic goods, very large technology companies and many others, including startups.
